The estate is half way two major nature parks: Blyde River Canyon and Kruger National Park. The charming town of Hoedspruit offers a vast array of good restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets.

Blyde River Canyon

In Graskop you find a fantastic adventure centre with a cliff walkway, a lift descending the cliff, a suspension bridge, a big swing with a free fall of 70 m (!), and a zipline. You find restaurants and shops there as well. Worth a visit.

Hoedspruit

This small town, which its many nature reserves, is the safari capital of South Africa attracting national and international tourists. Amongst it amenities is a brand new state -of-the-art hospital, supermarkets, local shops, top notch restaurants and its own airport serving flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town and George.

The Kruger National Park

The famous Kruger National Park is best reached through the Orpen gate, which is at a approx. 1 hr drive from the villa. The park is great for 1 day or multiple day visit and multiple accomodations are availabe in and around Kruger in case you want to make a multiple day visit.
